Aust. Ch. Narbrisse Extra Vagance

To date I have only had one 'close encounter' of the Briard kind.  That was with my lovely Fawn girl "Frenchie".  She stole my heart at just 8 weeks of age and she proved to me that I am destined to have another 'close encounter' sometime in the future.

"French" came to me on loan from her breeder - Liz Bennett (S.A.).  I had expressed a desire to show one of these magnificent dogs and as Liz had kept a brother and sister and could not show all the siblings, NARBRISSE EXTRA VAGANCE or "Frenchie" came to live at 'Foxbell' for a while.

Due to her size and overbearing nature, she just took over (my Collies found it hard to keep up with her, plus she towered over them very quickly).  She acquitted herself very nicely in the Show Ring winning some 'Class In Group' awards as well as her Australian Championship Title.  Her movement was 'to die for' and she quickly gained a 'fan club' around the Group 5 ring.

"Frenchie" (and her breeder) taught me much about the Briard which has stayed with me over the years.  Since returning to S.A. she has produced the next generation for Liz to go on with and I am sure there will be many more NARBRISSE Champions for years to come.
